Roeland found his passion for cooking while working with his father at the one Michelin star restaurant Hermitage, in the Netherlands. On a holliday trip, he fell in love with Lagos and decided to make it his home town.

Since 2018, Joana Reis has been guiding guests at our Avenida restaurant through unique wine experiences. Her passion and expertise earned her the title of 'Sommelier / Wine Director of the Year' by Revista de Vinhos, the most prestigious award in Portugal.
